Miayla Marcus is a London-based harpist. She began playing the classical harp at the age of 12. She first trained with the junior department of the Royal Academy of Music and maintains a great love for the classical repertoire. However, Miayla grew up surrounded by jazz and has always had a passion for the genre.

Miayla moved to New Orleans at the age of 20 to immerse herself in the jazz tradition. Now based in London, Miayla is fully embedded in the jazz scene as well as playing at weddings and other functions. Miayla has had the privilege to play at exciting venues such as EartH in London and the Davenport Lounge in the New Orleans Ritz-Carlton. She has also played at festivals around England, including Beyond the Music festival Manchester and the Hoxley Hustle Nottingham.
